That is really hilarious even my nokia n97 mini which is 4 years old doesn't do that! They always have a reason to every defect their phones have. At least be honest with those poor people that waited in queues to get their phone. This is really shameful!

My proper camera painted a purple haze across all my photos for a while, turned out to be that the lens was substandard.
Pretty sure Apple shouldn't be insulting its customers over what's clearly a hardware defect.

iPhones and Samsung flagship Galaxy phones are very famous in Singapore. They wouldn't even care much about this.. Important is you are able to use the phone. iPhone fan will always be an iPhone fan, Android fan will always be an Android fan

Only iphone 5 camera have this issue.. try to test other mobile cameras and see the result.. :)

no purple haze on any other device i saw yet...
even if there is a bright light source in the frame
apple are such errr they will never say that an issue is really just an issue every thing is normal and caused by non-normal use may i ask what the !@#$?
battery issue - you are using to much power
purple haze - dont take pictures of the sun
scratches - ho come on this is normal you guys
antena issue - you are not holding this right
other issues - you dont need to use that phone its only for the saying "i have an iPhone"
as i said before may i ask what the !@#$%?
