I really wish mobile review sites and fanboys alike would stop droning on about "flagships". Who cares what is a "flagship" or not.

Most phones have more than enough processing power these days so why not just concentrate on the best phone in each price bracket GSMArena?

Now i know why Sony call this phone ODIN. It is a reference to Final Fantasy, and not to Norse mythology.

This phone is named ODIN because Sony has decided to cut through the competition and reach the top spot as the ultimate flagship. I'll explain...

In the Final Fantasy games, Odin is a demon-like SUMMON, he can be called upon, or summoned, to appear on his horse to slice through the enemies, causing instant death. This is what Sony hope to achieve with this new flagship, they have summoned Odin to slaughter the competition.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-10-09 11:12 from Kg{$ - click to readyup there are NO feature perfect phones in mid range.. like NeoV (at that time it was perfect phone). Sony coming out with either no memory card slot or no secondary camera or no good design, this is nothing but confusing buyers.

Personally i never looked twice at S, P and U, because of the missing card slot. Especially for Xperia U this was a disaster, and i am happy to see that Sony has learned their lession now and makes all their phones with card slot now. Next thing they should do is support more HW video decoders.

> In reply to MdN @ 2012-10-08 19:18 from Mtr9 - click to readSony has been involved with some Odin stuff, for example the playstation games Final Fantasy. As for the picture used here, its from the Marvell Movie Thor, which Sony Entertainment did not produce or distribute, but i looked it up abd it turns out Sony originally bought the righst to Thor, and later sold it to Paramount.
