Galaxy S III mini specs and photo leak - dual-core CPU and JB - read the full textWell that was fast - the Samsung I8190 Galaxy S III mini leaked in full before tomorrow's official announcement. These specs are not official so they might be inaccurate, but they look right for a 4" Samsung Galaxy S III mini device. The screen is 4" big (which we already knew) and it's a Super...

Is this not slightly cynical on the part of Samsung - they have given this handset a name that effecetively trades on the back of the Galaxy S3's success; but this phone has almost nothing in common with the S3 except for external cosmetic similarities and a Touchwiz layer on the OS. The spec is little more impressive than a Galaxy S Advance, with the exception of the updated OS maybe.
It will be very interesting to see at what price point Samsung deide to slide this in.

watahek is this phone for? mini for what?
it just a dual core and almost the spec as SGS Advance.
if mini should have same spec but smaller design and maybe basic battery capacity (1500~1800mAh)

I think i know U8420 uses new technology, costs low power, and has powervr SGX544 like iphone. so s3 mini competes with iphone and has high price.but super amoled fails, except sa plus in s2.i cannot aford high price.

It's called a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini as it literally looks like a "Mini Me" version of the Galaxy S3. I'm not a fan of Droid phones but I actually think this phone will be a hit. The specs are not mind blowing but if its released with Android Ice Cream Sandwich at least, ensure the screen density is much better than a Galaxy Ace 2, and released with a low price tag, I think this phone will be a major hit.

Remember, you won't get a quad core processor with an 8MP camera on a small phone like this, hence it's a Mini version of the Samsung flagship, meaning a miniature phone that looks like its papa but less strength. Give this phone credit!
