Boring phones. Nothing new, really.
The 3600 slide "is a Samsung".
The 6600 slide is a copycat of previous Nokias.
Finally, the 6600 flip (or fold as they call it) is something between a SE and a Samsung.
Yawwwwnnnn... boooring...

And, yes. I think the naming system Nokia has is a bit stupid. How come they keep naming their phones with the same codenumbers? I'd much prefer the naming system the Nseries have, or maybe like newer SE Pseries. Only a letter with one or two numbers.

I am a Nokia Fan, and this is their first attempt on correcting their mistakes and making better-looking phones. I wouldn't call these failures, but even though the looks are above average, these phones doesn't really spell sophisticated devices. But I think these phones would still be a success, since not everybody needs an iPhone or midrange SE W-series phones. With a far lower price, i would even consider these phones a competitor against SE K810.

Why release phones with old names again ex 6600 ?? Did they run out of numbers ? Where's the creativity ?

Nokia always think about people who can"t afford there top class mobiles or "N" mobiles an try release good handsets at reasonable prices, there cameras now days are alot better the Sony Ericsson an the others an there features on there mobiles are more easier am simpliest, just which these were the S60 software on them so you download more onto these type of mobiles, but i am sure alot of youngsters will want one of these mobiles for a birthday present

Again an unsuccessful attempt by Nokia. Why it keeps making N81 like navigation keys. It's sooooooo boring & they call it beautiful!?!
And what the heck has happened to Nokia numbering its phones like this? I guess they have run out of numbers to name their new mobiles. How can they name it same except for form-factor which looks cheap as well (6600 fold, 6600 slide).

beautiful indeed! some buy phones for looks, some buy for functionality
I am one of those people that use at least 2 phones. In my case, I have a phone for my personal life and a second phone for business.
my business phone is the smartphone and I'm currently using P1i,
my personal phone is usually the fashion-savvy phone, and I'm currently using 6500 slide. It's not a smartphone and it is never meant to stand out in terms of feature, its purpose is merely for looks!
And these phones really look good! i'm just kinda sad that i bought my 6500slide weeks ago

I think the reason for the low price is because alot of people dont really want an "everything-but-the-kitchen-sink" phone. They just want a basic phone with a few basic features that doesnt look like crap.I'm not saying I like how these phones look but some people will, and thats the people that Nokia is looking at.

three new handsets all with S40 UI? You call them 'smart' phones? not really. this is a re-packaging of old tech with glossy materials at premium prices. don't be fooled
