The best pics of the LG Nexus phone so far show all the details - read the full textBeside the high-quality photos there is not much new information about the LG Nexus phone. Still, we get its model name - the LG E960 - and a codename - the Mako. We'd say that if it really turns out to be this year's Nexus device (something our fellow tech journalists are not quite sure), it...

Many people do not understand what nexus is all about. It is like a prototype or test device. Other devices may be better or worse or like it, etc

doesnt make sense in providing just 8 GB space knowing that the number of applications is ever growing... really disappointing!!!

I speculate this, either it will be 8gb+miscrodc card slot(which is win) or 16(or32gb) internal w/o sdcard. There is no possibility as I see it for a 16/32gb with sdcard but 8gb interal w/o sdcard just seems plain stupid and will be one of the most controversial smartphones ever made with excellent hardware/software/design but lacking in storage and such will fail. Its like asking for a sandwich with only one piece of cucumber inside and nothing else.

I will only buy or recommend this if it has 32 and 64gb versions and if the battery is excellent (not just good, but excellent, lasting a whole 24hours).
If this phone is indeed released with just 8gb of storage, then it will be an epic fail! I will actually go out of my way to advice everyone I know to avoid it. Those at Google and LG who decided it should have only 8gb are profoundly stupid.

i think in its size theres no question they can put beast specs in it. i am just wondering about nexus phones, are they really for latest android user experience? or just a prototype, like trial and error resolving bugs so that the next generation well design beast phones will be not so messy after all?
look at this device, this isn't a joke releasing with 8gb, they were not produced i guess to target the mass consumers rather than an open source device to the developers and techs who are on their feet to make android more better, what is your bet? 8gb wont matter on debugging(s), after all it is just a testing device. awful. marketing by google who mainly develop andriod, now spreading their wings to cover the best of ideas from the phone manufacturers, from samsung, to LG, to sony and was it also HTC with the HTC One X5? i hope One x5 wont be such 8gb no card slot... if it will be then i am correct :D

oh google is playing cheap again, no cardslot, no good camera so it could sell it cheap, cheap, cheap... yeah, they sure not worry, there no competition... we have no choice, if you don't like iphone or wp, android is the only key... I mean you will see they put all these hw(cardslot/high mpl camera) in to their device when they got pressure..

tsk tsk. We tolerated the 5MP camera on the Galaxy Nexus. 8GB storage, however will not be forgiven. If they dont change that its going to be a flop.

I c alot of Samsung angry fans here hahahaha. Why is it because google wants LG to manufacture their phone now ?!?!?! For your info LG is one of the best companies in the world including phones and especially the Optimus series. So dont say crappy things abt the company.
And for your info for the storage on the nexus its Google who decides and not LG since its purely a google phone.

If this 8gb storage and No SD Card slot is true, They just knocked this phone off my must buy list.

Google is mainly at fault here for trying to push their cloud service.

Give an option to store it online or offline GOOGLE!!!

LG is at fault too but I believe GOOGLE made them do this so they could push CrapDrive.

GOOGLE! GIVE US A CHOICE TO USE YOUR CLOUD SERVICE! DON'T FORCE US TO USE IT! THATS A MICROSOFT MOVE!
