Fail for Samsung. Looks like they've forgot to publish this phone back in 2010 and just a week ago they've remembered to do it.
Poor spec, high price. If it would have same what S3 has, it would be worth buying.

370 euro for that little piece of plastic? People might aswell buy an SII for that price, that has much better specs and is only a little bigger and much slimmer.

Most people don't like the size of the screen on the full-size Galaxy S III, and NO ONE really needs better internal specs.

A repackaged Galaxy. No innovation here.

The Galaxy name means little now, I hate telling friends what phone I have, when I have to talk like a nerd.

What phone? Oh, it's the Samsung Galaxy S Two.

come on, Samsung. what kind of specs are these? Motorola Razr M is physically smaller in size even, but has a 4.3in screen, faster processor at 1.5Ghz, and better camera able to record at 1080p.

My Galaxy S i9000 still seems adequate powered. The Galaxy s I9000's Graphic card puts most of these so called superphones to shame.Samsung is having the cake fooling people and so is with apple and other manufacturers. Now it is for the customers to act smart and understand the diplomacy.Samsung though has the best phones with the best displays ie Super Amoled. But now it has started behaving like Apple.Every year they r raising prices of their flagship phones and they are able to charge these premiums seeing the hype their past flagships have created.Seeing the current scenario,it wont be a shock if couple of years down the line these so called flagships will be priced in lakhs. So u never know in 2016 Samsung launches Galaxy s7 at 1.7 lakhs.

> In reply to MeeGo Takeover @ 2012-10-11 19:17 from RbXn - click to readPricing is the crucial factor for this phone, Price this phone properly and it can gain some market. only selling point for now is JB and Good amount of RAM - 1 gig ( good for a midrange)

I agree , naming it as S3 Mini is misleading, thats why samsung did not build much hype around its launch.

I like the mini versions from Sony. a true mini in nature.

Does it have a Wolfson Audio chip, because if it does then this could replace the best music-phone ever Galaxy S because "supercurio" can then make "Voodoo Sound" for this "S3 mini"!

its a lower mid end phone with not such exciting features, the 3 main things it lacks is
1) burst mode in camera,
2) very very less powered battery
3) cpu

it has a gpu, it is confirmed in official press note, but one thing i do not see in specification sheet is CORNERING GORILLA GLASS PROTECTION.
If it has gorilla glass it could be a hit if price would be in between 350 $ - 370 $.

> In reply to BlameItOnThem @ 2012-10-11 19:08 from sRjx - click to readNokia? Who buys Nokia these days?
WP consumes more battery than Android
It has single core and 1870 mAh and scored 29h, While S2 with dual cores and 1650 mAh scored 40h

So the true battery hog is WP and not only a battery hog it also restrictive like prison with complete lack of essential games and apps

And Nokia make the worse camera ever otherwise why they did fake Lumia samples and video?

And BTW Nokia is the one use cheap build quality from WP source they build their phone in Foxccon and Compal which both known for their human's right violation and low build quality

And WP phones are always laggy and buggy too although WP phones doesn't support multitasking i don't know they lag?

So before you open your mouth about Nokia and WP keep in mind even the lowest Android end phone with 1.6 Donut is much better than Nokia 920 or what its called now the Brick since its heavy and thick and useless like a brick

What a rubbish my Galaxy S2 is much better than this GS3 Mini. Once my Galaxy S2 will receive Android 4.1, It will be even as powefull as the orginal Galaxy S3 is. It's even more ridiculous than Samsung overpriced it.

Moto Razr Intel, Sony, HTC are much better and cheaper than the GS3 Mini.
