Plus the tablet, I really think they'll use the same display as the TF700 (which I think display only, will cost you around $100-200) I think it make sense, maybe $1200 would be better, but it still make sense.

I guess this phone will have a capacious internal storage+ microsd card support which is something other companies seem to be making a mistake about. If its market price (phone+tablet+qwerty keyboard) is under 800 euro this is a sure buy for me. If the lg nexus (or if some other nexus does pop up, which at this stage I kind of doubt it) does not come with expandable storage or at least a 32gb model then I will have to go for this.

Either Asus company officials in INDIA are fools or the Parent company officials are unintelligent.They priced the Ausus padphone 1 for Rs. whopping USD 1300/- (Rs. 68,000) and expect the people to buy their products when samsung and all leading brands are selling at competitive comparable international prices in India. and how do you expect Asus products to get popular.
they may have reduced it by 4-5thousand rupees..but a price point above 800 USD is bullshit.We can afford to pay this much and Americans can't even afford this much and they always get a better deal.

nice phone and Specs. market it at under 500$ and you got a good competitor at 13mpx camera and a a4 quad core. Slim design is sleek as well. But tablet + phone all in one..not really an interesting concept. knowing that this would cost more than 1k for both units at least, you got better options for cheaper like a BB Playbook at 150$ and an S3 at 500$ for example. Even an ipad 2 and an iphone 4s would come under 1k by current standards
