Samsung I9260 Galaxy Premier GLBenchmark scores reveal GPU - read the full textThe Samsung I9260 Galaxy Premier was once rumored as the next Galaxy Nexus phone, but those rumors were renounced. The Premier sits somewhere between the Galaxy S III and the S III mini and now we know its GPU (and most likely chipset) thanks to a GLBenchmark score. GLBenchmark reports Android...

They should have skipped the s3 mini and gone directly to this one.

> In reply to sanadanosa @ 2012-10-22 16:26 from 61A9 - click to readI cant find anything better about samsungs UX, i think sony is better for everyday normal tasks. I now have a Note II and i found some disadvantages over Xperia, especially the portrait keyboard is awkward and hard to use on Galaxy phones, even the cheapest Xperia (Tipo) is better here, but the Note II make up for that by having 5 rows. Still, inserting a comma or other frequently used characters is 3 times faster on Xperia, as you longpress and slide and then it goes away by itself, its all done in ONE operation, but on Note II that is 2 separate presses plus one more press (or backbutton) to remove the popup. Very frustrating after getting used to Xperia, seems so old fashion on the Galaxy.

And wait till you see the customizable keyboards of T and TX, they blow everything else out of the water.

Another incredible thing is that Note II does not have Edit Number Before Call, but they have the useless SHARE as an option on the longpress menu. WHY!?! Ok if it was on the contact, but thi is when you longpress on the contacts phone number, thats such a braindead design that i almost could not believe it, omitting a very useful shortcut and adding a totally useless one? How often do you need to share a number but not the contact? Xperias are more streamlined and efficiently laid out without sacrificing advanced options, for sure.

All in all Note II is best anyway, truly an amazing phone in a class of its own.

> In reply to Tanmay @ 2012-10-22 15:42 from ut0i - click to readWe dont know the ppi of this phone yet, its very likely that it has higher ppi than Xperia T/TX, but only if it has LCD display ofcourse. If the Galaxy Premier has a LCD display smaller than 4.55 inch then it will beat T/TX on the ppi. I dont think samsung want to have a display that is so near the S3, so i guess it is smaller than 4.55. But it will not beat the ppi of Xperia V (and S, SL, Acro S), 4.3 is the lower limit for display size.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-10-22 14:52 from Kg{$ - click to readwhy a lot of people prefer to buy samsung phones over the xperias? because samsung provide better user experience than any xperias. their update relatively fast, their stock software provide everything that user needs from a smartphone without downloading any third party software (file manager, office, task manager, etc), their after market service is better than sony (at least in place where i live). it's not just about specs.

Lately, there is too much media biased against Samsung. OLED is a future and it is an advanced technology than conventional LCD.

I would prefer xperia T/TX over this phone coz it is giving a better processor, better GPU in some ways, better resolution (ppi), better UI (technostatic), better camera, mBravia Engine but poor viewing angles, a liittle smaller screen...
I'm not anyone's fanboy but talking practical....
Buyers should go foe Sony Xperia T (Xperia TX global version).

Its good its HD, and the graphics is powerful talaga, but dualcore A9 is not enough to compete with Xperia T/TX. I have to say that dualcore Krait is pretty much minimum these days.

Also, this phone is likely to have a Pentile AMOLED display, which is far below par these days. But it could be LCD, and then we will be looking at the clearest phone ever from samsung, that could be very interesting, and if i know Samsungs PLS LCD technology right it will beat the Xperias on viewing angles. But who in their right mind would take a dual A9 over a dual krait? Well, everyone who dont know anything about cellphones, but no one here. Unless they are sammy fanboys.

The point of Samsung is to try and reach everybody's financial bracket. Not every body has the money to buy highend phone.that' why Sammy is trying to cut corner to cut the PRICE tag. Giving every body a choice without giving up technology. Get it guys

With a new iteration every minute the "Galaxy" name is probably the most overused brand name in all of history. I've lost all interest in following anything that carries the Galaxy label...
