Was so looking forward to this device, but no SD card is a disappointment. Otherwise amazing specs. :-(

Google phones are exceptional! I've had them all and loved every single one... if you don't like it don't buy it. No need sittin' there and complaining about it not having this or that. Nexus phones will not have an sd card ever i believe.. keep that in mind.

I own a One X and love it and i also have a Nexus 7 :D
if only my One X had stock Jelly bean on it ;[

If there's no micro sd the least they can do is produce a 32 gig version.

it says that max memory excluding Micro SD is 16gb
therefore with micro SD you can extend it further :P

Great, so... an Optimus G without a memory card slot? And maybe some occasional OS updates. That'd be great if I had been using a manufacturer's Android OS since a week after buying a new phone for the last what, 3 years? Once again, another Nexus phone I won't be buying, in favour of the Optimus with expandable memory.

Seriously, anyone whining about LG's lack of updates needs to put their pacifier back in. If you need updates to be cool and trendy, then you ought to be using a distro anyways. If you actually needed a working PHONE.. well, that's what the manufacturers give you. Suck it up.

but apparently they do not care people who are gonna need to reach their contents when they are abroad.

The Nexus phones are supposed to be Googles show off flagship devices but to me no card slot poor components dont make it so.The last Nexus had rubbish speaker,poor camera ,no card slot,dim screen ..The Nexus S was out of date before it was released so perhaps the best Nexus was HTC which is saying something..

If the Galaxy Nexus had that much popularity, then why shouldn't this phone, who is miles better than that? Ok, you will have 16 GB of internal storage, but this is the only problem, think of what you receive except the storage.
