I was hoping to get a M2 when I next visit Hong Kong and China but won't bother now as the Nexus 4 is coming out soon with same spec + larger screen and a relatively cheap price, plus worldwide warranty.

> In reply to humvee28 @ 2012-10-24 17:27 from 75}$ - click to readI know this wasn't for me, but I want to point out that you can have the same interface (it's called MIUI and it's a custom ROM) on almost any phone. There are many officially supported phones (just google their webpage) and those which aren't supported are ported instead. I used this on my SGSII back in the days. My GF on her SGSIII and I am waiting for the ported release for my Note2. It is awesome.

> In reply to mawire @ 2012-10-24 15:38 from 3sE3 - click to readHave you actually held a Xiaomi phone and seen the interface? I played on a Xiaomi 2(yes NOT a 1 or a 1s an actual live Mi TWO! Factory product number 537 of 600 made available last Sept.)for an hour here in Chengdu, Sichuan, China last week. It is an Android interface, plain and simple.

They have themes that LOOK pseudo iOS but having owned an Apple 3GS(my current phone) it is nothing like an iPhone.

Besides, this is China, not Germany or America. Since when has a Chinese company been sued by an American one for copyright infringements? If Friday is the sale date I'm gunning to get one. I played on an iPhone 5 in HK and while that has its benefits too, I'd like to save $$$ for other endeavors(",)

sooner or later, American will not get anything that is made in China, because everything will be sold in China or in Asia only.

> In reply to brynn @ 2012-10-24 12:38 from nEAx - click to readBTW, it has a replaceable battery with sdcard slot:
It also offers a 3000mAh optional one as well, with just 2mm more on its thickness.
Another cool thing about it, is that it has the most complete wifi in the market, and, if you buy from Xiaomi, it will give you a eletronic invoice with one year warranty.
Dude, that smartphone is only cheap on the price, not on the hardware quality, and with the best Android software support ever.
