Ok what with the 10 : 23?
Its shown like 3 times, must important in some way , like a release date 10/23 or the price $1023(hope not), or maybe i'm just being paranoid?
Either way this phone seem great but HTC has let me down before with touch phone, and their horrible phone cameras.
WinMO 6.1 is looking great tho.

well, according to the HTC site ("where to by" link) it will be around 459 Euro
Not that much for that kind of device....from my point of view. :)

gsm 850, wcdma 850 and 1900 should have been included... i think the notion of europe/asia version and us/america version shouldn't exist on phones anymore... there are countries in asia that rolls out wcdma 850 already

HTC should've given the device a bit of shape - why always so square on the edges!?!
All these 'touch' devices (incl iPhones and LG Viewty) are too fingerprint-intensive anyway - yuk - send something made more for outdoors use rather than having to treat each phone like it's a million bucks!

"This device looks beautiful & I like the features, it's a shame the display is only 2.8". There is a massive difference between 2.8" & 3.5" and THE BIGGER THE SCREEN THE BETTER. It doesn't matter if the phone is 5mm wider or 10mm longer."
This is complete bullshit my friend, the larger the screen the bigger the device so 2.8 inch is a good compromise and besides that this is one of the few screens that boost a resolution of 640x480 what makes it way better then most screens at the marked at this moment.

And the X1 is made by whom..?
Yep. HTC.
The X1 is a different product, it has a QWERTY. I don't think it'll be the Diamond's direct competition. The Diamond is more of a "superphone", much slimmer and more stylish.
The X1 still has the advantage of the SE logo stamped on it, though.
