Whoa! It has a 5 megapixel camera, and a touchscreen. That's like the LG Viewty.

How can you say the keyboard is good and nice to use when it hasn't come out yet?
The feature list looks impressive and the phone is decent enough looking. I am sure it will have SE excellent battery life, which will be a plus.
My biggest fear for this phone is the user interface as I have never used a good symbian operating system in my life. Its terrible.
Comparing this phone with the iPhone is also stupid as they are aimed and used for completely different things. When the 3G iPhone arrives though i think it will be unrivaled as the user interface cannot be matched which is what makes it revolutionary... not its features
Overall though seems decent this phone

The P1 keyboard is 100% better than the iPhone keyboard. How can you even compare? It's something you can actually feel and touch, so the response is 100% accurate.

the qwerty keypad is great on p1i
its one of the main reasons i haven't changed my phones
I do over 5000 text messages a month and i can't imagine using anything else then qwerty keypad on p1.

This phone is great! The keypad is very comfortable to use. If people don't like it, too bad. Just get a Blackberry. This keypad is very unique and fun to use. It saves space and the keys themselves are much larger. Typing on those small keys you find on a Blackberry is torture!
As always, a Sony-quality product!
This is only a proto-type. Expect an excellent product!

As a previous P1i user, I liked having the qwerty keyboard. Wasn't a huge fan of the touch screen and the slow and unintuitive UIQ interface though.

Oh and i must compliment SE for giving is customers more choice (P5 vs Xperia) even if this means cometing with itself a bit. I havnt seen another manufacturere with the balls to do this before.

It seems as if the scroll wheel has been replaced by the circular direction key under the screen. This may make it easier to use than the other P phones.
I Have allways enjoyed the keyboard of the P1, much beter than my other 2 qwerty phones, no prolems there, is fantastic. However now the screen is much further from the keypad, this may pose a problem for text entry.
Also, i wonder if this model will have EDGE.

I love the P1's keyboard!!! It's just great!!! Unlike many, I didn't had any problems using P1's keyboard even the first time I used it and I am glad they are keeping it on Paris as well... :)
But otherwise, it doesn't look good yet... :(

Guys
I am the poster of the phtots
I would like to say that yes the phone was not clean because I did not have a chance to take the pictures I stole the seconds to do so.
Also, don not forget it was a prototype HANDMADE peice, the finishing in the final product will be much better.
Another photos will be released by me SOOOOOON

it does kinda look like a fake, i hope its not!
the design is missing something, I can't just put my fingers on it.
but P series phones are meant for business function anyway, if it has what the news says it has, then I am definitely buying it!
i'm actually glad that it is still a symbian and not a buggy Windows Mobile device!
