Almost everyone hates this quirky keyboard yet here they go making another phone with it.

I hope the final version will look better. The the blocky design reminds me of cheap Motorola phones. I agree that the 'sure type' keyboard is quite a challenge to use. However, a friend of mine who is a SE M600 user claims that the keyboard is really easy to use once you get a hang of it but the thing is, the 'difficult keyboard' impression will overpower the prospective buyers even if this is true.
Design: This looks more like a fashion-phone than a business phone. It's a make or break design that may ward-off conservative previous UIQ Smartphone users and yet attract new crowd. We'll see...

If these photos are true... sony has lost this battle even before it has launched... a slider keyboard .... looks really crappy... functionality questionable... the engineers and designers are not thinking here..... another flop ... all the business phones from p900 onwards have not been on the ball... shame to se

why are these leaked pictures always show the phone all dirty with fingerprints. At least clean the fingerprints with a jewelers cloth or the cloth for glasses.

The half-qwerty, half-torture keypad simply does not die. What's wrong with SE? We buy phones to make communications easy and simple, not atrociously complex. I will put my money on the Xperia rather than on this P5, unless SE scraps this qwerty keyboard. I'm telling you, such qwerty is a pain in the ***. Life is meant to be simple and easy.
