I think the 'lost in a bar' thing is now the new way for tech companies to build up hype surrounding a product launch. Good marketing stunt.

this "lost in a bar" story is all media tricked BS..i mean come on people...how can someone get so drunk and loose the "unreleased" phone...media people might go one step ahead next time and say that it was the "same" person all the time....
silly story to get limelight byt media..not only gsm arena...whoever leaks these kind of stories...did the same guy not loose his pants..why not add that, -he lost his pants, and the phone was in his pants and he feels sorry in the morning having a terrible hangover also...!

The Samsung guys must be kicking themselves now. They missed out on an opportunity to copy Apple. Next year, the GS4 will be "accidentally" left in a bar too.
