> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-10-27 18:05 from jxXT - click to readSo true! I read an article yesterday that Apples' "new" 7.9" tablet is "revolutionary" and will be a trend setter for others to make smaller tablets...and that the world has "never seen" anything like it! Um hello! I've had my N7 for a while now...
Its getting to be almost joke-like the way people are so brainwashed by Apples' products, they don't even realize that the same product product was released months prior by another manufacturer.
Don't get me wrong, Apple makes great products, mainly their computers IMHO..but journalists these days have to get down to Earth and realize Apple isn't always the "first" to release a "revolutionary" product.

my buying motivation:
removable battery + 16GB storage + external SD slot
removable battery + 32GB storage
They might just give 32GB later as what has been with Nexus 7. Then again, that was with Asus+Google. I'm not sure how LG tackeles this one.

what the hell is google thinking? only 8/16gb of storage with no card slot! what happen to consumer options? stop following apple footsteps which most people hate. if the nexus phone is solely for developers, then i could understand the limited space of storage. however, this is for the consumers. google want consumers to have the stock experience, but with the limited storage is sad. it is unacceptable. even apple give users more choices in term of storage capacity. what's the point of putting hd screen, nice camera for shooting video and taking nice pictures when there is enough space to store them. is google thinks that consumers have the lastest lte speed everywhere and that the data is unlimited or what? i like to watch my music video on that nice screen and not having to stream it all the times and search for those videos constantly. and i don't have the fastest speed all the times. i don't have lte in my area and i'll get cap after 5gb even with my unlimited data(greedy bastard at&t). the point is miscro sd slot is a must. how hard is it to put one on a phone anyway? the first gen nexus had one. if google thinks it'll slow down, just don't let consumer install apps on the sd card. the phone has enough space for apps. if no card slot is a must following apple trend with all those exuses, then give consumers more options, with a minumum of 32gb. if this were a crappy phone, lowest end phone, i could understand the limited capacity. however, this should be a mid-high to high end phone. even if the low to mid end phone still have the sd slot. gnex to me is not a high end phone with only 5mp at the time of 8mp phone released and only 16gb of storage. if the rumer is true, i'd not support google. i'll spend my money elsewhere.

3.5mm jack on the TOP?! :( Uncool, Google. I liked the Nexus phones when they weren't so conventional.

Not worth me considering this, not even with 16gb. Minimum requirement is 32gb and 64gb would be better still! Walking on by!!
