i don´t really get the use of all these n-series models, i mean are there some real diffrences between n95, n96, e90, 6220, 6120, e71 and e66,,, only they add some ram here, better cam there, or better battery life, slightly larger screen, gps, tv-reciever,, but they will never give u a perfect device, and i personally don´t get the idea of upgrading from any of these previous devices to another, coz basicly they are all the same, and they cost almost the same as a new gaming laptop!
Is one of the small "dots" on the face of the e71 the supposed video-call camera???
If so - it's so tiny!!!
Also, seems like the gaps between the keys have gotten smaller (comparing to e61i) --- My poor fat fingers!!! - still gonna get it though!!!
Finally an upgrade for E61 and E61i!! I was wondering when they add a camera.
I quetion the design, but if they have improved on the speed, flash and camera quality from E65, then its worth looking at.
it looks like blackberry but it wont be like it never and ever...
oh cut the crap, come on! we're talking of business-centric phones, not bulky clamshells that don't do business. better check the logic!
I am using an N71 right now and I can tell you that the N71 is a sweet phone.
oh my God ,
I hope Nokia dont do that.
i will divorce my folded full keyboard mobile and nokia too as the present E70 keyboard is bigger than the E90.
after 15years i will have to give up nokia if they do so.
Anybody has idea when these new Eseries E66 and E71 smartphones will be released by nokia? june? july? when? I will buy an E51 or E61i, but with this new smartphones comming, maybe it can be more smart wait a little... anybody?
A somewhat smaller screen as a trade-off for a much thinner and narrower body that will actually fit in your pocket? Thank you Nokia! You guys are wrong; it will sell very well. The Blackberry's screens are no bigger and are less robust devices than the E71, yet they sell like hotcakes. With the Nokia's superior features and more powerful multimedia functions than other business class phones, it will sell very well.
It seems that the Nokia E66 is an E51 with slide. WTF ? Couldn't Nokia come up with something better, in terms of design ? I am a huge Nokia fan, but with the E66 i am little bit dissapointed.
If those designs are released ...they shouldn't cost more than 400 dollars or 280 - 300 (tops) euros...
This succesor of E61i i mean the E71 is a drawback..the screen was the strongest point of the phone and now they made it smaller...I don't think many people will buy it (I know I WON'T) they'll just go for the E61i or the next model..or other models in the market...a pitty I say
If those designs are released. Im pretty sure the Price of E65 and E61i will surely Drop
those people eye FAKE??
E66 same SAMSUNG D900i??
Did i see wrong word or the people who write it is same STUPID??
P5 from a BullS1hT CoMpAnY are exactly look like a SAMSUNG models
BUT I FORGET WHAT is the models called..but got 99% same just the bull take a large screen into
Hmmm very nice editions in there E-Series
E66 looks pretty awesome in the pics , screen looks 2.6in from the pics , I think nokia should use high resolution screen this time
they should use the same resolution as they used in nokia N90 and N80 ( 415x312 )
E71 on the other hand is pretty unusual for its name , i was suspecting a candy bar phone with fold able keyboard like nokia E70,
They should change its name to E63 OR E62i as a successor of nokia E61i
If Nokia are really to produce an E71 they better make sure it has a high resolution screen of at least 2.8 inches. When I say high res I mean VGA(640*480) or WVGA(800*480 pixels). Anything less than this will be a waste of time. The E71 is a business phone therefore viewing of tables, charts, text and graphs is of paramount importance. Therefore a high res screen is needed just like a thirsty man craves for water.
The inclusion of an autofocus 3.2MP cam and GPS is welcome but they are not quintessential to a business phone.
HTC, I-Mate, and even SE have all come out with high res business phones.
Nokia wake up!! It is mid-2008. The processors and batteries are already here to make high res a reality. Are you in the game or not?? Are you just watching from a distance?? If you're in, you need commitment. You have to come to the arena and prove that your processors and batteries can handle the challenges of high res. Otherwise you are nowhere in the business phone market!!
threaded msgs is possible with recent S60 phones including Eseries ones. the application is called "Conversation". download for free here:
finally... the moment that we've been waiting for... E-series with video-call feature!
what took you so long, Nokia??
