oh my God ,
I hope Nokia dont do that.
i will divorce my folded full keyboard mobile and nokia too as the present E70 keyboard is bigger than the E90.
after 15years i will have to give up nokia if they do so.

A somewhat smaller screen as a trade-off for a much thinner and narrower body that will actually fit in your pocket? Thank you Nokia! You guys are wrong; it will sell very well. The Blackberry's screens are no bigger and are less robust devices than the E71, yet they sell like hotcakes. With the Nokia's superior features and more powerful multimedia functions than other business class phones, it will sell very well.

It seems that the Nokia E66 is an E51 with slide. WTF ? Couldn't Nokia come up with something better, in terms of design ? I am a huge Nokia fan, but with the E66 i am little bit dissapointed.

If those designs are released ...they shouldn't cost more than 400 dollars or 280 - 300 (tops) euros...
This succesor of E61i i mean the E71 is a drawback..the screen was the strongest point of the phone and now they made it smaller...I don't think many people will buy it (I know I WON'T) they'll just go for the E61i or the next model..or other models in the market...a pitty I say

Hmmm very nice editions in there E-Series
E66 looks pretty awesome in the pics , screen looks 2.6in from the pics , I think nokia should use high resolution screen this time
they should use the same resolution as they used in nokia N90 and N80 ( 415x312 )
E71 on the other hand is pretty unusual for its name , i was suspecting a candy bar phone with fold able keyboard like nokia E70,
They should change its name to E63 OR E62i as a successor of nokia E61i

If Nokia are really to produce an E71 they better make sure it has a high resolution screen of at least 2.8 inches. When I say high res I mean VGA(640*480) or WVGA(800*480 pixels). Anything less than this will be a waste of time. The E71 is a business phone therefore viewing of tables, charts, text and graphs is of paramount importance. Therefore a high res screen is needed just like a thirsty man craves for water.
The inclusion of an autofocus 3.2MP cam and GPS is welcome but they are not quintessential to a business phone.
HTC, I-Mate, and even SE have all come out with high res business phones.
Nokia wake up!! It is mid-2008. The processors and batteries are already here to make high res a reality. Are you in the game or not?? Are you just watching from a distance?? If you're in, you need commitment. You have to come to the arena and prove that your processors and batteries can handle the challenges of high res. Otherwise you are nowhere in the business phone market!!

I have played with both sets.
E66
A very good upgrade frm E65. It is slimmer now. And contain new function like GPS and 3.2mp auto focus camera. There have been in a change in the OS as well. ppl who have the E65, sell away ur E65 now before they become useless. E66 is a nice upgrade with a total different feel.
E71
I only have 1 feeling when i hold the white colour set. It feels just like holding a palm centro. the key pad is small, but works just like the palm centro(which is quite comfortable) GPS and 3.2mp auto focus is a plus.
One thing i don understand nokia is.. since Nokia have slighty upgraded the OS.. why cant they just create the thread sms as well.. why must they still stick to the old traditional way? Even Window 6.1 have upgraded to threaded sms..
