It's really a sweet deal. Here in France, on the play store it's listed at 349€ for the 16GB version. Every other Android phones with similar specs are around 500€ at least (ex Razr HD 450€ including 50€ refounded, One X 529€, GSIII 549€ - maybe you can find a little less, but not much)).

Does it do USB OTG? I guess if it doesn't do it out of the box then the Nexus Media Importer app would do the job. Works great on my nexus 7. At this price I'm buying one!

This is listed on the Google Play Store for £279 (16GB Version.) Fantastic deal. Thought it would be in the £400 mark considering the specs. Day 1 for me!

The reason that Google is selling the phone at a loss but without a microSD slot is because they want you to use their drive service and all of their other online apps

the Galaxy Nexus is selling now at around 340E around here ... I just hope the 16GB of this comes at around 200E with a nice 2y deal ... and, since i live in a country that beats the $#!^ out of some "developed" countries at intenet speeds and you have free wifi almost everywhere, I don't really need to store anything on my phone (I hardley need it now.. can't see why it would change in the future)

Does anyone know (for sure) if this phone has a wake button other than the power button? Drives me nuts with mine.

I think Google is taking the risk(or maybe it's not even a risk) of selling the phones with a loss, and they later regain the money with apps and ads, this was done by Microsoft and Sony with their consoles, they profited only on the games sold in the first 1-2 years

Micro SD slot would have made me happy, for me 16gb is not enough and a Micro SD slot would have solved the problem.
I'm highly satisfied with this phone expect memory, but still I will buy it right away it is launched in India because it is Google device which comes with a bonus of Next Generation of Hardware.

I will never buy this as it has no microSD slot, sorry Google, but sometimes it is not possible to use the cloud. I use my phone a lot for movies/lossless audio on travel and dealing with cloud/mobile traffic is not possible.
Nothing like a nice fat 64GB card in your phone.
