Got my Samsung s3 and Jelly Bean is upgraded in it. Can anyone tell me if 4.1.2 will be possible to update with again? It was possible to upgrade from ICS to Jelly Bean 4.1.1 but from 4.1.1 to 41.2 will it be possible?

> In reply to Siam @ 2012-10-31 07:33 from PEqf - click to readgive it a try ;) if you think you need it on a (relatively) small 4.3 inch screen... it's based on CM10 tree anyway - just adds little tweaks/features like most ROMs (once again - flashing a ROM in TWRP is no nuclear science)

I like my OS as close to AOSP as possible - CM does it with par excellence polish and stability - unlike other ROMs based on it which I call polluted (say I don't really need 1/3rd of AOKP features to say it nicely)

be sure you're installing it on a correct SII model (there are dozens)

Hey, Google consider 3D hot cheek assistant integrated with Google Now. Give her a name like ANGIA (Android Google Intelligent assistant) sort of stuff for the next Android. Putting her naked in the top right corner of the screen would be nice. :)

Android is becoming like MS OS developments - you need extra RAM just to launch and use the bloated OS, let alone do anything else. Hardware power is just covering up basic bloated flaws in the OS.

At least they (Samsung) will update your phone, it's better late than never (like Sony)!

installing CyanogenMod 10 is quite easy (assuming you're rooted and have installed CWM/TWRP recovery) and updating it - is now just one click - via menu item.

And of course - CyanogenMod 10 not only brings you JellyBean (e.g. 4.1.2) but also zillion of improvements - from performance to usability point of view. The 'cleanest Android on drugs'
