When I lost my Htc Desire S I decided to get a cheap Huawei Ascend G 300 till my contract ends, basically the same specs. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall good performance of the phone, screen, call clarity and speed. If this phone do launch in South Africa I will seriously consider it above Htc, price wise. Specs is also good enough for my needs. Seems Huawei build quality is top notch.

Is that Huawei's own processor?
Really interesting specs, but still doubted the processor's performance.

Huawei may be a very good chinese brand, but its name sounds ''low quality'' to most of europians and americans.

No innovation? Huawei made their own chip "Huawei K3V2" it is pretty unique and powerful, Google it and read before you post crap comments.....

Seems like a solid device but their processor is based on A9, since the lg nexus is really cheap and has a better processor and timely updates more people will go for it. Though I do see huawei and xiaomi shaping very well in other countries in the future.
