This is why I will be switching to either android or iphone when my contract is up. Support by both Microsoft and 3rd party developers is nonexistent :-(

It was a slap in the face when my lumia 900 became obsolete in an instance. To add salt to injury microsoft seems to forget about the 7.8 update. Lets not forget when developers starts making apps or games for wp8 we windows 7+ users will be left with nothing but a sour taste in our mouths because wp8 apps will not run on wp7. Atleast android phones that hasnt been upgraded to the latest OS can still enjoy games or apps made for galaxy s3. Unlike the one sided Windows phone. So what i'm saying is UP YOURS MICROSOFT! i'm done with windows phone. Hello LG nexus 4

> In reply to [deleted post]Just because someone else is doing it wrong doesn't mean they should do it wrong. What they did is even more unacceptable IMO. If you compare google to microsoft, you should be comparing updates in general.
7.8 and that's it. Microsoft knew exactly that for future mobiles they're going to need dual cores and what not and that's the reason they limited it to single core at first. So people are more or less forced to upgrade their phone.
As time progressed, and windows phone 8's time to come was there, they pretty much put their middle fingers up in the air and told people, even those who brought their phone 3 months prior that they won't be getting windows 8 update. Now that's a major disgrace. Software upgrade imo was ignored quite quickly. Laughable.
With android at least most updates had been updated even a year or a year and a half after release.
Now hardware is more than capable, wonder what the next excuse will be.
Feel sorry for those who bought a windows 7 phone before the introduction of win 8 mobile.
I'm out
