Apple lose iPhone name in Mexico, revise statement in UK - read the full textUpdate: As The Verge has explained in their post on the matter, it seems there has been a misunderstanding over what actually happened in Mexico and what everyone thought had happened. As it turns out, Apple intended to cancel the 'iFone' patent in Mexico so they can register their own 'iPhone'...

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-11-02 16:41 from TSPP - click to readFrench media wants Google to pay them for their pages linked to search results. Google on the other hand counter attacked saying they could simply remove all links to French media from the search results. This has been well reported and the majority of people see the nonesense in France's claim.

This on the other hand is copyright infringement on brand name. But continue with your apologetic comments.

Translation for you: Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaah baaaah baaaaaaaah baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

I used to respect the progress of apple and its innovation, but chose android due to the exhorbitant price and profit markups on the apple iphone and tablets. I havent regretted my choice, and android has proven to always be innovative while the last two iphones have shown little real progress beyond faster processors and gpu's. They have been too busy fighting lawsuits, and i have lost all respect for the way apple does business. i will admit that the iphone is a very smart looking piece of hardware, better than the other phone options, which is probably why they cant come up with a better design, and have kept it looking the same for the past three versions. Im happy to hear that they are getting their own served back to them, its about time.

Bad Days. Maybe because thou sinned.

Maybe because thou treated workers like slaves, expecting them to see 0.02 mm difference on iPhone 5 casings.

Maybe because thou sold $200 phones for $699. 3.5 times more?!

Maybe because thou stole stuff and copyrighted them?

What can we say or so? Thou's sins must be borne by thou only & no else...

Big Woop, this wont affect apples sales at all. So all you iphone haters out there get over your self.

Also didnt the UK Judge not state that it ruled in favour of Samsung because the Galaxy tab isn't as "cool" as the iPad????? "git in UK"

Yes im a apple fan, but im also a fan of Android i had used androind since 1.5 and only just moved to iOS, and i have to admit it is a better OS all round and connect with other products that the same company makes much better then all of its Competition.

You have to thank GSMarena for the feed on Windows 8 presentation, which was 1 hour of sheer bliss and literally we have a unique OS not IOS or Android.
and NOT in my hand as yet!

Counter that with the above, never has such a "short" article carried so much news all of it bad for Apple

I mean i had never heard of ifone before I DO know the unique features of the iPhone which surely were NOT on the Ifone

So I do "link" the 2 stories as W8 will turn out to be a more user friendly OS especially SNS, they microsoft have made it easy to migrate content from IOS to W8!!
The launch could not have come at a worse time for Apple

With the Samusng appeal pending now a witness being called back it all goes to motive aka Apples core

What a story.... I like

Lol you guys never learn, Apple has grappled with problems like this from the very beginning, but they keep moving forward. Enjoy it though lol.

Oh by the way, Google is being investigated in France and they want Google to pay 1.3 billion dollars. Funny how that goes unreported till today.
