Apple lose iPhone name in Mexico, revise statement in UK - read the full textUpdate: As The Verge has explained in their post on the matter, it seems there has been a misunderstanding over what actually happened in Mexico and what everyone thought had happened. this comes from a heavy ICS user.

It is Karma... you started it Apple... and now the gun is backfired...

Apple is a good company making good devices, i totally agree they are among one of the best in product design.. but like all have said... they choose to DESTROY competition instead of innovates in a FAIR way..

i hope... really hope... that this patent war will end... and may the best company with the best innovative device... WIN...

well... 'It doesn't take a genius' to see that 'the next big thing is already here'

cheers... :D

> In reply to perspective @ 2012-11-02 16:25 from fXNb - click to readAgree, nobody has heard about iFone in MX before, but they existed long before iPhone brand appeared. The problem here is that people could start thinking that iFone is a fake copy of the iPhone name, which will lead to degrading the company name, and making it a fun for everyone. I think the company has the right to preserve his brand, in his own action sphere, even if this sphere is not as big as the Apple marketing one.
