Most people are not aware of features missing from an iphone, no MicroSD to expand memory, no hi res screen, no standard usb connection, no metal or plastic back, no way to increase battery size, no quad core processor. Higher end Samsung and HTC mobiles have all these features.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-11-02 22:38 from MDVq - click to readYeah, all those who did this are dumb. iOS is nothing in terms of versatility like RIM or Android. For a fact, beside all known issues, do you know that, till 4S, iPhones weren't able to connect to a projector?
There's not even a single fact that can qualify iOS and iPhones for a business phone (Apple computers and laptops, on the other hand, are something else and they are, indeed and with merit, a good business choice). Apple store games and iTunes music are not a major interest for a company business aren't they?
And if anyone tells me that iPhone is simple to use...and that's why they chose it as a business phone they just confirm my affirmation that they are dumb, 'cause they prefer simplicity over versatility, form over fond. A very professional approach, indeed. :)

I am surprised that majority Note 2 users are female in my country. It is also the first time Samsung products - both GS III and Note II out of stock...

> In reply to NK @ 2012-11-02 20:14 from j019 - click to readYour beloved iPhone & its poorly colored scratchy recycled soft aluminum back was designed to be a media player with phone functions. Apple makes great iPods. iPod + phone function = iPhone. Samsung is designing pocketable computers with phone functions. Big screen make sense since most people now read & surf the net with portable devices.

It's incredible that iPhone fanatics can admit that fact. Your unit can't even do the simple direct file transfer or connect to any smart tv. With its tiny screen, there's no sense in connecting bluetooth keyboards or mouse in making into a mini PC because you're sold that you need to get an iPad - which Apple is now following the 7" trend on Android based products and even copying some Android functions in iOS6. The next thing Apple will be going for is a 5-incher screen with stylus, since Jobs is out of the picture.

The Galaxy S III & Note II are all-in-one premium devices. No, they aren't made of cheap soft aluminum that you claim to be "premium". The strong plastic (polycarbonate)which you call "cheap" does make sense for weight & stength. In the end, they beat the iPhone in terms of versatility, usefulness and innovation.

Only thing Apple has done is made a phone that is almost all glass. That was interesting. Aluminum back cover has been done before. As I recall Nokia has and was the first to use expensive metals to produce a phone. Clearly iPhone 4/s to me felt innovative. Looking at the iPhone 5 its pretty much a stretched out iphone with hardly anything new available. Felt quick and that was it. Can't say Samsung is fairing that much better but then again Samsung has a wide portfolio of phones/mobiles it deals with. Apple is just one phone with different HD size. Again nothing special about that. Nokia gets kudos for trying to fight its way back when it was the dominant force back in late 90's to 2007 roughly. When Apple decides to make something that will catch my eye again I will go with that. Until then its Samsung.

I have had the note 2 for a month and its awesome... Im not suprised by the sales.

Its ibteresting that all the nay sayers if the note are very quiet... Samsung went out on a limb and has a 12 to 18 month jump in the market for phablets (i hate that term).

Personally the standard phone size will settle around 5 inches in 2013... I think notes will settle out at around 6 inches.

iphones and galaxies are straight head on rivals. If u want to compare toyota, compare them to honda ATLEAST. Although i beleive that car industry has an entirely different nature than a cellphone. Speak relevant. Stop hating.

Samsung manages to sell well even against all Android brands, Apple and others...don't forget that S3 isn't the only device they sell everyday...if you join all data from Samsung mobile sales, iPhone is meaningless seller xD go cry to your mama now ;) PS - and I don't care that Apple only makes a device per year, two in two years, it's their problem!
