Flagship phones (samsung, sony, motorola, htc etc) are high end products. Therefore their prices are high and not everbody can afford them.
But don't forget, they have a wide array of phones. They make phone for all kind of people. Samsung have galaxy young & galaxy pocket which are very affordable.

Unlike apple, which only have one model. That model is also their flagship phone, and tagged with high price. Here in Indonesia, iphone4s when it was launched, was priced $900-$1200. That was insanly ridiculous for a mobile phone.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-11-04 11:06 from MDVq - click to readYou mean the few who know nothing about phones and like iphone for the name and symbol while most(especially sane and somewhat knowledgeable one) will keep it. Nice try of extreme wishful thinking though. Not to mention the fact that the S3 had good support and fast updates from the start with less bugs and Iphone took almost a month and a half to get one update for many major bugs and still has some that might not even be fixable. Also to add in people like opening a box with their brand new phone to find it in brand new condition...not scratched before you even touched it

But apple is no where near the end yet. Maybe in another 2 or 3 years. This is when all the hypes of apple disappear and those april fxxls finally wake-up and all the rich Chinese people finally angry with apple that con them for years with cheap parts at high price with just the so-called "premium product" apple marketing Phil Schiller claimed.
