Great Samsung's touchwhiz is banned from the windows phone.

Laggy skin on top of laggy OS must be bad for android, i'm sure they'll fix it all in a year or three.

But their batteries are better than the very poor HTC
battery. HOX sucks and sales show that as well.

samsung pays M$ $10 per hand set sold.

WP is lag feel
3-4% of android users are sort of lag free.
thats if u believe 4.1 fixed things.

WP never looked stronger with 8 now.
Nokia wins as M$ passes on the $$ from samsung.

I wonder how Nokia feels about this?

They were far more popular than Samsung in Europe and UK. They had diehard fans, and they still do have a few crazy fans left(Symbian outsells Windows Phone).

Had they gone Android, with their designs, their own skin(differentiation Mr. Elop), camera technology, their maps + Google Maps, with Android's open nature and it having even more features than Symbian... They'd probably be selling 50 million flagship phones now.

Instead they chose to support a failure of an OS with a terrible design that appeals to very, very few people. WP8 is going to bomb too.
