but do we even need a full HD 1080p on a 5" screen?? though it seems cool to have one for sure..

But regarding the 440ppi it wouldn't make a difference against a 300ppi+ screen on any of our eyes here, unless we use something like a magnifier. I believe the 440ppi is just a marketing trick.

55inch tv has only 1080p resolution ,what is the need of 1080p on 5inch screen

1080p would means apps size will become definitely larger just like when ipad3 16gb do not hold much apps. And will need larger battery. Screen may get heated as well.

Need much more powerful GPU to compensate for its resolution.

guess what i dont need full HD phone lol.. 720p is perfectly fine for me..

That's wierd, I heard HTC DLX was the one going to Verizon, and it has dark yelliowish color with 2500 MaH battery.
