this means that sony phones will lose their quality. the most concern for me is loosing their camera quality because their phones usually have the best cameras among phones.

Within the tech world, Foxconn assembles everything and in every range (from the rock-bottom to the very high-end). Sticking just to phones, last time I have checked, Apple and their iPhone were relying on build quality and stunning looks to make sales (guess who assembles them? Yap. Foxconn!).
The thing is, if the contracting company (Sony) drafts a product with crap quality and crap materials then the assembler (Foxconn) will not do any magic and make it any better.
You can blame the assembler all you want, but the crap didn't come from them, it came from whoever wanted it that way.

Quality of new low end Sony Xperia is not good so i am not surprised to read that foxconn made them, i did use Tipo for a while and it ha flaws, but that could also be because of Sony bloatware in Timescape.
Im using Galaxy Note II now and its real good but i miss Xperia and hope i can upgrade to a Sony Yuga soon. I will not miss Samsungs Touchwiz, its awkward and has many useless things and lacks some useful things.

Sony (Ericsson) is a small company. it doesn't even have its own factory and has to manufactures its phone using someone else's factory.
so, this is not news.
