Google should acept the $10 per phone in exchange with update service fee. If Google is responsible for updating Samsung S3, Note2, original Note and other potential sale models, Samsung may pay $10 per every sold phone.

This way can bring the end users the latest version much faster than Samsung doing a lot of work for a lot of model. I think customers are happy to pay $10 higher if they can get the update faster provided by Google.

Lastly, why is iOS so garbage? Where are widgets? Why isn't the file system open? Why is iTunes the laggiest piece of software?

> In reply to THATS A JOKE @ 2012-11-08 14:33 from Mfxa - click to readAlmost 1 year? umm jelly bean 4.1 came out on July, which was 4 months ago? And your comparing android and google to what exactly? What other OS makes thousands of different phones with different hardware and manufacturers? you think updating all of them is easy?

And why is it sad for someone to be happy on getting the 4.1 update? Not everyone is a nerd like you who cant wait and needs the latest updates ASAP even though most people dont need it yet.

... it really makes me laugh when i think about how behind android and google are when it comes to giving thier users updates. quad core phones like the LG 4x HD is being released today with 4.0... why? why is android so garbage?

Seeing all companies delay updates (I know lg is the worst, I own an ill-fated optimus 2x) which is the company that today keeps up with updates the most? I see many sammy customers angry, is htc good with updates or are they ever worse?
