Apple, as a company, is at #6, while Samsung, as a company, is way ahead of them, and also if you noticed, the main topic would be Apple losing against Samsung and other companies. If your precious iPhone 5 is not available in China, it's not the writer's fault. The writer only wants people to see what really is going on, "at the time of writing".

Lies, scams, steeling, over pricing, suing, and monopoly is their game. though yes everyone needs to stop comparing. Iphone never has been and never will be the best or first so problem solved. Compare to more equal devices

why don't people just get the facts and read the lines..whenever apple launches a feature they don't compare it with other brands but iPhone itself ie biggest thing to happen to iPhone since iPhone.. they never compare their products with competition and that's their strategy to claim doing things first. (just my opinion)

Rounded corners...Oh dont forget when the judge even mentions that samsungs tablet was slender like the ipad....I guess apple was the first to bring slender and patented it too

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-11-09 19:39 from sXDt - click to readDid Apple invent boxes with rounded edges and single front button? Yes, Apple never claim that they invented those things, but they patented them, so that some clearly oblivious people (which made up most of their customers) won't confuse a Samsung phone with an iPhone.

Apple has been powned! Loosing court cases everywhere. Had to pay 600 million to keep the stolen name ipad. Lost a case for the stolen name iphone in mexico and had to pay compensation. they unfairly won that big case in the us but are still reaping what they sow everywhere else. that had to compensate samsung for loosing again in the uk and for the second time had to post on their site that samsung didnt copy them. And now they are not even in the top 5 of one of the biggest markets. Apple is eating karma big time!!

Apple has always overlooked countries like China and India by launching Iphone and ipad several months after their initial launch in developed countries.
Why is that partiality? Samsung is one of the largest phone maker in the world, yet they launch their phones all over the world at the same time including India and China.
I think it's time to teach a lesson to this fruit company. It starts now in China. Adiós Apple

> In reply to No Two @ 2012-11-09 15:40 from E41H - click to readNo Two, that would be the "Reality Distortion Field", in which words are carefully crafted and parsed to give the illusion that Apple is the undisputed leader of innovation, almost mythically so, and that all others are just copycats. Steve Jobs was REALLY good at this game, and could seduce others to his bidding in a very effective way.

I'm actually hard pressed to find ANY invention that came out of Apple. They are good at combining good technologies and designs from elsewhere, not so good at incubating new stuff on their own.
