BlackBerry 10 will launch on Jan 30 next year with two new phones - read the full textAfter getting delayed, RIM's BlackBerry 10 platform finally has a launch date set. On January 30, RIM will hold multiple events across the world simultaneously where it will launch both the OS and the first the BlackBerry phones to use it. Playbook OS is easily the most refined OS in the market.

If you have never used it, i really do feel sorry for you all.

Those who have used it, how good is it to have no silly home buttons, or any anchor points on your OS to multitask, and how nice is it to be able to experience true forms of multitasking, holding your tablet with one hand and still being productive - switching between your apps like a book or on a roulette. How nice is that feedback you get when you type, or the speakers - that you are not covering when holding your tablet. Hey what about when you wake up your tablet! yep no buttons, just a swipe! Side load apps wirelessly? yep!, Android apps? yep! tablet as a network device/drive? yep! True email client?
All this straight out of the box!!!!!!!

Android and Apple, apps? yep, home button? big screen yep!!!!! hardware, yep !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 hands required to operate? yEPPP!!

I've been using BB Torch 9800 for over a year now then switched over on using iPhone 4S exactly a week ago. I must say that I miss using my BB. I'm no apps person and just normally use my phone for calls, text and social networks like FB and Twitter. I find it easier to use my Torch than my 4S plus battery life is much better. I wish I could have back my Torch :(

Since when do people buy a phone for security? I don't think I've ever encountered anyone evrn bb owners who saw security as the main purpose. Heck majority don't even know that it has the best security and buys it for the qwerty keyboard and the business look.

No they are not dead by any way shape or form, on the contrary they are more alive than ever. I converted to Blackberry after being an Apple fan since the first iPhone, and an Android user since Android released it's handset from day 1. I have used, without exaggeration every single android model and iphone out there, and really nothing beats the sheer experience Blackberry gives you when you combine a BB phone with the BB Playbook. BB 10 will definitely kill both Android and iOS if BB market it properly and people wake up to themselves!

I used Blackberry for a while. The phone is not the matter but the apps are getting boring. Please RIM, work on your apps or else, people will go Android or Apple
