Apple could get $6 to $8 for every smartphone HTC sells

While Apple demonstrates clear and repeated arrogance and disdain for the patents of other manufacturers and laws of some countries, any deal that benefits HTC should be a good thing. I am sure Apple are taking this tack as they are losing significant court cases, the world is turning against them and they are woefully trailing Samsung and Android: their conservative and hostile approach is finally starting to cripple them, so they've seen some chips left on the table and are making a grab.

Or how they sue Samsung for stealing their slender rectangles with rounded corners? How they want to claim universal search? How they stole the names iPad and and iPhone? Or how they invented tablets? Or the various patents and ideas that belong to apple? How weather they made it stole it or bought they will sue anyone for it even if its the company they stole it from or if the company is not even actually copying it. You mean like that?

Apple fear HTC LTE patent and agreed to settle but still want $8 for every android phone. I will buy and support samsung as they stand up to apple, the patent troll. Consumer big bully. Apple fans are just sell out. They don't know that since apple's great wall to internet, there are hardly any innovation such as twitter, facebook. Internet need to stay open and apple is in the way.

i am bitterly upset with this deal .am a die hard htc fan,and cant stand the fact that htc as accepted the position that Apple is a better product.i hate everything that Apple stands for due to its claiming of superiority to other products and its never ending litigations.i think i would have to fall for Samsung because it is bold and can challenge any form of Apple bullying in the courts.Only recently it raised the cost of producing Apple chips by 20%.Apple had no choice than to accept. This is the of company that i love unlike htc that fell to bullying.

This is why Apple is the most disgusting phone company ever.
I regret feeding this monster with money directly, i will not repeat such a mistake, not even indirectly.
So long HTC products, go bankrupt in order to help Apple make yet more profits selling air and hype...
I cant believe the customers are so stupid to keep buying products of such a company, the way they have been bullying and abusing other companies speaks a great deal about many things...

HTC is going to abandon Android and concentrate more onWP8. The others may also consider the same action except maybe Samsung which is profiting with Android.

talking about copy cats:
Please note that apple had a fight with the SBB (swiss train company) becuase apple copied their design.

And it is not over jet. They still have to figure out how to deal with Mondain. They own the licence to build SBB style clocks in 26 countries. Also the USA.
