Android 4.2 update now rolling out for the GSM Galaxy Nexus - read the full textRight on the day of the Nexus 4 launch, Google has started rolling out the Android 4.2 update for the Galaxy Nexus. Currently, only a few users have reported receiving the update, and none of them are using the Sprint or Verizon versions. If you have the GSM variant, preferably the "takju"...

Why are people bothering to ask about other phones?
If nexus phones haven't got it all, what makes you think other models will get it soon?

Running jelly bean on a 3 and a half year old device would be slow too.
As for features: passbook, do not disturb, new emal and Apple Maps are included for a start. Which is more than the SgS. 1 is currently getting.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-11-13 11:30 from uvJP - click to readRemember that with iOS 6.0

3GS (2009) got this update. No Siri or Voice Navigation.
4 (2010) got this update. No Siri or Voice Navigation.
4S (2011) got this update, all features.
5 (2012) preloaded with 6.0

Not bad for Apple who are allowing their 2009 phones which are 3 and a half years old to get these - although they don't get all of the features.

Better than being stuck on Gingerbread, right??
