And people have been using Gesture Typing for years. It's called Swype.

It's only like Samsung releasing the new Touchwiz on the SGS3 when it works perfectly fine on the SGS2.

Just like in Brazil. ¬¬' Here we have the Galaxy X, it is the Brazilian name for Galaxy Nexus, and we stuck in ICS 4.0.4.

Mine is YAKJU and yet to receive the update....

And here in Australia the GNex is still stuck (officially) on ICS 4.0.4

Currently the update is available for takju devices not for yakju devices.
for yakju and yakjuxw devices it might come sooner.

JB 4.2 is rolling out for GN, but i haven't receive updte since the JB4.1 was rolled out. I'm Saudi Arabia

Which region updates seeding, its all jugglery as it went in ICS to 4.0.4. Now if it goes to 5.0.0 then major experience. Otherwise it is creating a phobia in customers to update. Do you fetch better price on used one No! Google could never compete with Sammy or HTC but orders one if their models as logo cell. Sam downgraded nexus 9250 to 5 MP can when their own were 8 MP ones.

And this is the difference between android updates and apple updates.

When an android phone is updated, you get all features that are physically possible on the phone.

When apple updates, you don't get any of the killer features as apple wants you to buy a new phone...take siri, icloud and voice navigation for example. Did the come to older phones?

Just checked on the update for an unlocked GSM phone that I bought from Google here in the US - no dice. Shows 4.1.2 as the latest version.
Curious as to where users have reported getting updates. US / Europe / Asia / elsewhere?
