> In reply to apple-sux @ 2012-11-13 21:47 from Lk@j - click to readTell me again why would anyone NEED to use the latest Android? Last time I checked, most devices still run a solid build of Gingerbread and it's not going to change any time soon. A device has fully functioning smooth-running hardware since the day it was purchased. There is no NEED for software updates, just a WANT. I do want my Note to get JB as it's packed with tons of new stuff but I don't really have a need for it.
Stop complaining so much and use the hardware you've purchased. If you're just in for the updates, move to iOS but be prepared for an ocassional mishap *cough* Apple maps *cough* and a ton of abuse from the Android crowd:P

If you want a new and more exciting look, get a custom launcher, or ROM for that matter. You'd still be able to run the same games and apps.

If you buy a phone for it's OS version and expected future updates, rather than what apps it can rund and what the phone is actually able to do hardware wise, then you need to shift your focus.

. OEMs are putting all this bloatware on their phones. This actualy makes a difference in user experience between Samsung, HTC or LG... With a bit of knowlage you could have like 2 years old phone like SGS and use JellyBean. I don't know the difference on hardware requirenments for ICS and JB but ICS run just fine even on my old HTC HD2 (1GHz cpu + 576 RAM). And it was made in the previous century (end of 2009). Maybe even JB would be usable...

Hopefully, HTC Sensation will be getting Jelly Bean because it has 768MB of memory.

Hi,

I'm sorry to ask but where has the Jelly Bean update started to be deployed for the HTC One S?

I thought it was only for HTC One X.

From a French website, they contacted the French helpdesk of HTC and the update should be available in France on 19th of November for the HTC One X.

The only reason HTC is not upgrading to Jelly Bean their 512 MR Ram Devices because of the HTC Sense. Sense is so heavy that at 512 Ram it can not perform well with Jelly bean or ICS.
