This phone is now out, carphonewarehouse, phones4u and O2 retail stores have all confirmed that they have them.
I want to get one sim free, but they don't have any in any of the stores, so I may order from www.play.com tomorrow morning.

Any one know of an official release date for the sim free version?

Just ordered mine with www.mobiles.co.uk on £25 per month tariff with one month free hopefully it will arrive tomorrow morning. Will let you guys know what it is like as soon as i can.

Can people who get this phone let me know a few things please:

Caller ID how big is the picture that comes up?

Can you customise ring tones?

Can you customise the text message tone?

How is it for texting, is it hard compared to a normal phone?

Did it come with the leather cover?

What is the sound quality like during a call and when it rings?

Foe people who have never had this kind of phone before what's it like compared to a normal mobile that isn't touch.

I've just ordered mine, will have it monday afternoon.
It's only 449€, so it's not that much compared to the other Mobiles in the same category.

I'll send some info once I have it.

46HY While being economical in public is equally unattractive so is your attempt at decadence. Some of us can wait for the i900, as we are not gadget mad, and have the good sense to spend money wisely. Any fool can just spend, and the manufacturers love you for it.

For $500 i900 is much better bargain in my opinion.
China got it after dutch.

This phone is available on O2 UK w/c 25.05 and is foc on a £35 18m tariff with 600 minutes, 1000 texts AND a free promotional bolt-on

Tocco is Italian for 'Touch'.

Samsung now offer support for this phone on their website, and play.com have it sim free for GBP,315, due for release on may 31st.

If samsung hold this back for much longer i might go insane!

hey, gsmarena, why are you putting the price in US dollars when this phone will NOT sell in the US? Give it a euro price and/or pounds.
