Sony is going to have a competitor of the iphone 5 and the S3 autumn next year. Great... Uhm, the S4 and 5S will probably be due by then... Oh well, more catching up to do... I used to be such a Sony smartphone fan.

That's nice to know, but it would fail to compete with Samsung Androids if they don't increase their external storage and battery life.

Don't they think they're a little behind? By the time the competitor to S3 hits the shelves, it'll have a couple of months worth of "glory" until S4 is released :/
Similar what happened to HTC Desire and S1, only S1 didn't have any "background" then. But S4 does and it's a fact that people are gonna' go nuts about it and Sony will be soon forgotten (especially if they keep using crappy batteries)...

i really hope that is true, i'm a SONY fanboy and i'm sick of being laughed at by Samsung, HTC, and iPhone users for bad products, srsly SONY go ahead and release that phone already, and i'm gonna buy it

Ready to take on IPhone 5 o_O? its a joke and a complete waste of a phone and everyone with a bit common sense over phones knows that, its only bought by people who has no knowledge over smartphones who thinks they will make them look cooler or people who have nothing to do with money, and about taking on Galaxy S3? it might be a tie or slightly better but by that time Galaxy S4 will arrive and will throw Sony flagship into oblivion.

Good. I"m sick of the s3 hype. plastic toy. for 650 bucks, fragile glass, dim light. average camera. Can't wait to see what Sony brings out.

I would by TX over SIII any time !!! Reasons for that - pentile s**t, really well thought plastic feeling, not as impressive samsung UI as they want us to think it is. And many, many more reasons.

Not going for Windows Phone will be a bad decission, at least I think that Sony really should getting the bet OS there is out there. Android isnt working, cause you have to be redsigning your phone every week just to get it working without issues.
Go fpr WP8 while you have the time to compete with Nokia.
Just saying that in all kindness.

Sony can easily compete samsung but its imposible to compete Apple in next coming year 2013.....although sony mobiles are better than samsung's material..android need improvmnt in sony mobiles...
