In the end sony isn't putting enough effort in there mobile section as they do on all there products which is really sad to sony fans and I for one. The way I see it, mobile phones isn't really there thing so to say therefore don't expect much before someone dies of heartbreak. Well, am with sony all the way up that ladder. LONG LIVE PLAY, LONG LIVE SONY.

That's the thing with these korean company's, desperate moves is worth drives there success currently. Its always a good thing to have a complete package in the real sense and most times u won't really see much difference in terms of display quality but that's not to say it isn't there. Most times too much colour may be mistaken for better display which is one of the major trick samsung uses recently to sell most of there product example is there phones. May be you should check professional reviews and ratings online since you really can't tell them apart.

> In reply to NevaloN @ 2012-11-17 14:37 from 0Wjt - click to readDid you see the leaked photos of Sony Yuga? The last of those pics was taken from a serious angle, and the lcd looked great. The new displays from Japan Display (a joint venture where sony is one of 3 owners) are the newest type of IPS displays, they are far ahead of any other manufacturer, it will take the koreans years and years to copy this.

The new displays are less than 1mm thick. Is that good? Now add that the thickness is already including the touch sensor!! Sensor on lens. Its revolutionary. The only killjoy here could be that it incorporates WhiteMagic as seen on Xperia P. I dont like whitemagic.

> In reply to nze 1 @ 2012-11-17 13:49 from ftVi - click to readI dont know.. I bought a new Sony Bravia TV in April, and yeah we all love it, its a great TV. But better than samsung? In what way? Maybe viewing angle, but thats so good on samsung also, im not sure i could tell the difference in a blind test. Bravia Engine 3 (BE3) advantage? Impossible to notice on analogue signal.

But what WOULD be easy to notice? This Sony does not support MKV files thought USB flashdrives, the Samsungs do. Starting to see the point now? SAme with TV's as with smartphones, Samsung strives to be as COMPLETE as possible, they try to give you everything, but Sony cannot be happy if they cannot hold back on something, they always have to put some small restriction and they do it for no reason.

Samsung working on a new flagship ? Who cares, it will be, again ugly as hell, in a stupid color, as plastic as it gets, as cheap feeling as it gets, huge screen, but crap quality of that screen. otherwise it will have 8 cores and it will sell as hell.
Sony is much more optimized, classy, quality build. Has less issues, etc.
