Instead of jumping to Windows maybe Nokia should have developed Symbian even further. Maybe then I would have stuck with Nokia instead of jumping to Samsung, like many others I know.

I know how it feels when you own a Lumia for the first time and see the normal people reactions on it.
(a phone without icons?!)
(Wow, is that Nokia?!).

Ok now all the fanboy talks from all fans should be finished. Stop bashing and get the facts. Nokia is back and this time they are really into the game. They have good O/S, solid hardware with lottsa innovation (don't wanna goto dtails) as proved with Lumia 920. And it got the echosystem (term purely invented by marketers) so bullies can spend their money for unwanted wants.. :P

I'm getting really excited. A fresh new UI is very welcome in my palms. A white one will look great along with my white HOX. :)

The number of produced handsets are limited that is a known fact. At the same time Nokia has chosen to sell Lumia 920 for a very low price in the US. So there is nothing strange that they sold out and it is definitively no sign that the Lumias is actually doing well or that Nokia is doing money from it on the US market. It is simply a way of reaching as many customers as possible in what Elop sees as Nokias key market to gain acceptance for the new WP8 platform. In other key markets like Russia the price of the Lumia 920 is two times more expensive.

> In reply to Jon @ 2012-11-16 22:49 from m$PG - click to readSo, you think Nokia has made a small stock of phones and is giving them for free right?:)) You should do your homework before saying things like this. If you get the phone for 50 dollars on at&t doesn't mean Nokia does not get it's price for it's phone. You have to be a bit outer-space to think that! Also, you really think that Nokia made a limited number of phones?:))). What do you think they are, amateurs? If At&T stock is empty doesn't mean that Nokia made it like this to appear that they sell. Learn some marketing! They are empty simple cause to order means to pay, to pay means money. So, they have a limited budget for every phone manufacturer to order. So a limited gadgets to order. So, next time they will order more of them and pay more money. And yes, this does mean that Nokia sells quite good. Is not like everyday a full stock get's empty...

Oh my! If SingTel, M1 and StarHub can sell the Lumia 920 as fast as AT&T can, then I better go to any nearby SingTel Shop as early as I can to get the red Lumia 920 I want.
Microsoft have already reported that 4 million users worldwide have bought Windows 8 PCs or upgraded to Windows 8 Pro and maybe many of these Singapore users wanna get their hands on Nokia's two new phones, the Lumia 820 and 920 to test application sharing between Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.
