What did LG do to you? They are constantly innovating and launching new devices that you never saw before, and you keep on blasting LG for the lack of updates? WTF? Who is that dumb enough to care only about updates? That's why these companies make these huge profits, with the help of people like you, who buy only based on the name of a product, not based on what that product can do. The end will come and you will see how you cared only about unimportant things...

Poor screen will be wasted on an LG phone. Better donate them to some other manufacturer. Pretty please LG.

Thats good, except that its an LG.
Sony's 1080p phone was the first to leak and is likely to be the last to hit the stores, and still have the oldest Android version. But i wait for it anyway, IF it reaches the stores here at all. Too bad Samsung will probably have pentile on their first 1080 phones, its far from optimal.

Another possibly good phone which is probably doomed due to lg's marketing inability and their non-existent update policy. Also they will probably take 3-5 months to release it in america after they have released it in korea (not to mention europe, cause from what I know optimus g is going to be late on arrival by 6months) so by the time this arrives in any market outside korea, not only will other similar handsets be released months before but it will also probably stay on 4.1.2 where as the other handsets by HTC and Samsung will probably be ready to receive 4.2

All of the sudden full HD screens appearing everywhere, 3 HTCs, Oppo Find 5, Sharp Aquos, rumored Sony, Huawei Ascend Mate, ZTE Nubia and now the LG - looks like Sammy's behind here big time!

TI always amde good chips but they don't seem to get interest from manufacturers. Tegra never convinced me... everytime I see a compairason between tegra and snapdragon, snapdragon is far better in speed and battery efficiency (even when we talk about computers Nvidia graphics cards never quit impressed me as much as ATi) and exynos... don't make em laugh.
Snapadron always where pretty good SOC so it is natural eveyone goes for it.

I can't wait for CES and MWC 2013. It's been a while since the last time. I'm hoping we see an array of awesome phones. And as a Sammy fan I really do hope they reveal the S4 and it takes the limelight!

Other websites got this news one day ago. This is not good for GSMarena. And it's really annoying to see that every flagship smartphone sports a Snapdragon S4 pro chip and Adreno 320 graphics. What happened to Exynos 5, OMAP 5, Tegra 4, Novathor A9600.
