I love both android and wp. But it's a deal breaker that wp isn't open source like android. And I'd prefer nexus 4 over lumia 920.

Didn't think there were any Phones running WP7 that could run WP8 due to the strict hardware requirements enforced by Microsoft? I might be wrong but can anyone suggest and comment if there are indeed any phones out there.

This operating system has no future because it is infantile. What do we offer this? Colored icons? Are we retarded?

> In reply to sad @ 2012-11-19 16:31 from ScDF - click to readconsidering that Microsoft have been quoted elsewhere as saying that there will be continued sales of new WP7.5/7.8 devices to offer a lower price WP product that will allow the ecosystem to grow beyond those able/willing to purchase new more expensive WP8 devices, it makes sense that MS would look to continue to offer support for new/exisiting WP7/.5/.8 users for some time to come...

mine already running an official android 4.1.2 with buttery smoothness and leave android 2.3 users atleast they got a fully functional 2.3 unlike doomed wp7.8 .wait and see whether MS will skip wp9 update for older device or not

My point was, whenever android getting an update it will be a fully functional

WP7.8 is a discontinued phone, useless. Not updated phone that nokia cheat customers. Better buy a new android snapdragon which is top1 actually.
