omg
i checked out some smartphones, they had LTE on the list O_O
galaxy nexus i9250 global vir
galaxy s3 i9300 global vir
htc one x global vir
htc sensation for t-mobile (maybe the global vir have LTE too)
i'd love to see some1 trying other phones at any LTE connection just to see if it works like the nexus 4
actually this is a good thing at android. dialing *#*#4636#*#* actually it is maybe working with any android phone. idk if it needs to be ics 4.0+ though i remember trying some ROMs which doesnt have it working at HTC rezound
oh yeah i dont mean that all of android phones have a LTE, but yeah alot of new 1s do have it according to what i've checked out.

> In reply to JiNkeEz @ 2012-11-23 12:28 from v0qy - click to readAPQ8064 is the s4 chip in side this phone. this chip has no cell modem so the phone must be using another type of cell modem. It seems the only phone using the MSM8960T s4 chip is the nokia 920t

> In reply to jason @ 2012-11-23 14:53 from RXgS - click to readTo enable LTE, you need to go into a debug menu (by typing *#*#4636#*#* into the dialer) and change the setting from WCDMA preferred to one of the LTE-enabled options. It seems that this is all you need to do on TELUS, while on Rogers you need to create a custom APN to get the LTE working.

Well I'll be damned. This was the ONLY thing keeping me from buying a Nexus 4. Will be if people can successfully enable it in the US. Once they can...I'm going to be buying this bad boy.

Really nice. And even better if that's an essential condition of s4 pro and not an error, meaning that next batch of devices will not be deprived of LTE.
Now, if only we could actually BUY the phone.........
