Damien Dinning should help a company create something like this concept design http://www.freshnessmag.com/20...-donnie-ray/
It may not need to be an APS-C interchangeable lens module. It could simply be a 1" sensor fixed lens camera with 3-4x optical zoom like the RX100 or a 1/1.2" sensor like the Nokia Pureview 808.
Afterall, there are already dumb casing for phones like this one http://photojojo.com/store/awe...rangefinder/ which does nothing more than add weight.
Why not create a real usable phone casing with great camera?
I hope a camera company such as Canon/Nikon/Sony/Olympus/etc would embark on such a project. Samsung's prosumer cameras are not really up to scratch when compared to those I mentioned.

Damian knows Nokia is 'Finnish' so he leave soon rather than later hoping that he will be 'Dinning' with either Samsung, Sony, LG etc...

Nokia was dead on the spot when they decided they are closing symbian and windows phone 7 is there only operating system.
for me it's like changing my GF for new gf that is new to me,
or liking a gf on its look and beauty,
Nokia done the same,
but not me,
solution-go for samsung,
it will be same as its now till last breath.

Don't know why everyone is seeing it as negative news. He may have completed what he set out to do at Nokia, and is now moving on to the next project. Happens all the time, and creative and talented people crave new challenges.

Nokia Is Increasingly Decadent And Bankrupt, That The Unic Department Finnish Giant Total Supremacy Before He Exercised His Competitors, Is Not Over Your Head Straight !
Given This Framework,
Even Until I a "Convinced Nokian" Lost Enthusiasm With Brand, For Your Cameras Were The Only Thing Keeping My Loyalty!
For This Lumia 1001 (Last Smartphone Nokia) In What Was the Front Dinning Conceived And Executed Every Project Is My Last Smartphone Brand !
In Summary, Here Lies a Nokian !!!

Good thing he did that, Nokia has no future.
The future is Samsung but I hope they never repeat the same design mistake of S3/N2.

microsoft's plan to destroy and takeover nokia as cheap as possible now is very close to the final hit: buy nokia very cheap only for its valuable patents. nokia will die in on year, an we will must accept the bloody offers from samsung with its ugly and total tasteless models
