> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-11-28 17:58 from nTqa - click to readWe don't need more cores for PC atm. Most softwares don't even support 4 cores! You can always buy some 8-core AMD but 4-core Intel will still be better. And btw, there are also 8-core Intel prosessors and you can put two of them in some motherboards so that gives you 16 cores but that would be so much moneywasting.

8Core in a phone already! Just goes to show that Intel are controlling the market by not allowing us more cores in Pc's when it clearly can be done there holding us back to line there pockets with gold we should have 16 cores in pc by now !!!

ZTE
Make sure your 8 core loads and process faster than a single/dual core WP and IPHONE (IOS) otherwise your 8 core will be categorized as "EQUIVALENT" to single/dual core core iphone/WP. Ha hahahahaha

BEWARE! With this 8-core, I hope MediaTek fixes the frequent force close on games. I have a friend of mine that has 1GHz dual-core phone, MediaTek processor inside and complains that some games FC's on his phone. And those games are just light games! LOL.

One game I can remember is the "Beach Buggy Blitz" and that game can run well on 800MHz (non-MediaTek) processor without any signs of lag.

if android cant even run smoothly on 4 cores, than what is the other 4 cores going to do??? just chew up more battery power....
8 cores in a phone or anything is ridicules, if windows 8 mobile can run extremely fast on dual core, than why cant android, project butter just covered up the problem, not fix it.....
anyway I hated my Samsung s3 it was the most insufficient phone I have ever used, sold it and am getting the nokia lumia 920 which should be much better from all the reviews I have read

Just all the old single core WP and iphone4 users that are jealous of the true power of android been released.

Lag is finally now a lie.
Soon Samsung will have 8 cores for Touchwhiz and prove
it.

I'm are also waiting for Tegra 4x superchip news.
Be so powerful the term lag will only be used for iOS and WP from then on as well.

There answer is why 8 cores?
Too prove android is the only OS that can handle true CPU power of multi-cores

the new "smoked by Android"

run scared iOS and WP fans
