More cores fester Phone;

Its as simple as that. I'm not saying that the phone will be bad, but just that more cores doesn't by itself means that the device will be faster / better than any existing phone

It is design to be adaptable on mobile world and x64/x86.
They didn't see as worth it yet as the developer for hard processing software like AutoCAD or Adobe still haven't created their mobile version
So why bother? heck they can sell more with more matured technology later on.

My WP 7.5 battery lasts for almost 2 days at single charge, even with email & whatsapp. And I never had a single crash/hang/reboot for almost a year since I bought it. It's the quality I need, which not a single droid can match.

> In reply to sdrawkcab @ 2012-11-26 15:20 from 8yT5 - click to readApple and Microsoft have been building operating systems for decades already. They know best how to optimise an OS. Google just started recently so they really know nothing. Android phones are now outpowering even Apple and Windows computers which should not be the case because phones should act and remain as phones. Save real computing to true full desktop computers.

Android needs quad and 8-core processor to get to the level of the performance of dualcore iOS and Windows Phone 8.

I doubt 2013-2014 or even 2015 smartphones will exceed or even the price of an IPhone 5 in my country so don't worry.
