im using optimus 4x and need to say optimus ui3.0 looks ugly infront of sense ui 4.0(htc one x) and touchwiz ui 4.o(galaxy s3) but in feature it blows them live zooming, qvoice, quick memo, pinch to zoom, frame preview, instant shot, snapping images while recording videos, and many more which are absent in my cousins onex and s3.

I think a phone still needs to be comfortable to hold and pocket. I think 5.5" is about the limit. You will see some phones around 6" but I don't think this will become main stream.
Ultimately we will probably end up with screens that fold out or roll out so the race will be for small phones with big screens. The issue then will be battery life but this will probably have major advances in the next 10 years too.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-11-27 08:06 from vaNH - click to readwell, sorry to disappoint you but I'm already using android one way or another. I even fixed a lot of my friend's android smartphones, from software to hardware to mods, even rooting and installing roms. Sadly I was planning to get optimus 3d but it was a long long waiting till it came out, I already had a working bb by the time and no much money and figured, ignore it for now. when the 4x came out I gathered some money to buy it but heard the rumors about the optimus g and waited for it first, sadly the officially unlocked version is not yet to come out. Heard rumors about the nexus and waited again for the announcement, it came out and I love it . I really want to buy it but it's sold out from play store and other resellers whoever they are, are demanding double it's price. Can you see my dilemma :(
I really love android and want it sooner than later, but what to do

I wonder when this size thing is gonna get settled.

My question is; why a 2.5Ghz quadcore Processor on a smartphone? There is no way smartphones can overtake notebooks or desktop PC's. So instead of increasing the speed of the Processor, manufacturers should think of how to make their UI's easy to use and more customizable. Google should also lighten the burden on their Os's, so that even Android 5.0 can run fluidly on a dual core Processor.

> In reply to Remy D. Marquis @ 2012-11-27 04:40 from 7Eh8 - click to readYou should watch out for those phones if you are new to Android, as you do not yet know your own requirements. The Optimus G will push you an old Android version which is FAR from optimal, and the Nexus offers virtually no storage. Both these phones are lemons.
Unless you go for midrange or low end android phone you must not accept anything lower than 4.1 jelly bean, the advantage is so huge over 4.0 ICS that Jelly Bean should have been Android 5 already, dont get fooled by that small numerical difference between 4.0 and 4.1, after using 4.1 for more than a month (i have a Note II) i can safely say that 4.0 has more in common with 2.3, avoid avoid.
