You guys DO REALISE that Samsung Microprocessor company and Samsung Electronics are almost two ENTIRELY different companies??

Just like Samsung Ship Building And Heavy Machinery?? Same corporate name but that's it. That's why Samsung Microprocessor are STILL GOOD FRIENDS with Apple.

Same as the Kawasaki that build motorbikes and the Kawasaki that build rocket launchers are almost two separate companies.

> In reply to Patrick @ 2012-11-28 16:05 from 3sEj - click to readAgreed, this is now beyond petty. Amazingly they are still arguing their loss in the American courts to Motorola for real patent infringements.
Get back to R&D.

> In reply to Xiao Ti @ 2012-11-28 15:43 from PFx6 - click to readI assume you are aware that Samsung make iphone's screens??? They are rumoured to also make allot of the other components as well. So what you have effectively said is that Samsung are cheap copy cats who make apple screens that apple brag about and charge of 50% markup for ... doesn't quite seem right does it lol.

Lets see how long iphone actually lasts now.

This is one of Samsung's more recent phones compared to a much older Nokia phone. Quite a bit of the design has evidently been copied.

Nokia 6300

Samsung C3322

A bit of originality wouldn't harm Samsung.

What goes around comes around. Got competition, has improvement. This universe is square and circulates non stop accordingly time and days. We human being also learning from other human being. Duplicating each other and replicating one another. Seems Apple is behaving like a juvenile all this while, we could bet that Apple no longer can bare any tougher competition and bigger rival in the coming future. Since Apple had since lost its ingenious founder and creator, STEVE JOBS, now the current community whose developing Apple are merely some bunch of amateurs IT literate. Samsung is smart enough for being a partner with Android, the open source mobile phones OS developer. Although am not a fan of APPLE myself but since the launching of IPAD 3, I couldn't resist and got an IPAD 3. So far, none other tablet can beat IPAD 3's performance in terms of stability, smoothness and speedness.

for Apple : build your factory & produce your own components..don't take the components from your neighbour factory..then you can sue Samsung
but if you can't do that maybe the people can see who is Mr.Wright (Samsung) and who is Wrong (Apple)..

STOP iT..
fight for the useless kind of patents..
try to discover a new engine or specific thing that can be use for all mankind..
