See it below. The short clip surely doesn't reveal much, save for the resizable tiles, a la Windows Phone 8. In any case, Windows...

I can't wait to see it in action on the lumia 800, I'm thinking of buying it for Christmas. Too bad that people don't realize that there is still future for their phone, and that it's not left out like the other manufactures do and just becoming a feature phone for calls.

for all those who say that 7.5 should have been updated to win 8 the only difference between windows 7.8 and windows 8 is the hardware support for hardwares like NFC,SD card , core processors, etc and other all software supports will be the same as windows 8 in windows 7.8. so only if 7.8 gets support for sd card there should be almost no problem as both at the price at which 7.8 devices come there's almost no scope such hardware as 7.8 and 8 are virtually the same.

7.8 update is getting bluetooth sharing with any other phone which is great but really disappointed with the fact that it not getting mass storage and freedom from zune. if it gets it i bet nokia 510 and 610 would just smoke out the droids at their price range as they are very low hardware as compared to lumia 610 and 510.

For me mass file transfer mode is the main thing and next is multi select in pictures section.

Why is it that most of the video of Windows Phones are merely swiping here and there, and demonstrate nothing else? Does WP not making use of sensors like GS3 or Android? What's the point of resizing these squares when one cannot have good notification alerts like Android??

IMO Wp os is fast and clean. But the downside is it waste screen estate and lack of productive features.

They should have let the old wp7 phones upgrade to 8.. they are barely 2 years old.

> In reply to Droid @ 2012-12-02 01:10 from uBSg - click to readI just dont understand how can desktop be in ur pocket . Even if any device has 40 cores it would still be ARM right . Desktop os will never run on ARM . Ur dream will never come true friend . Even if u give 100 fangs to a cat it would still be a cat it will never become tiger . So dont be delusional . We still dont know what octacore will add to present platforms . Poor battery life i guess .

M$ is just delaying it, people should get Android with
windows phone 8 launcher if they like tiles

Android is getting 8 core CPUs next year and with 2GB standard Android 5.1 will be like a desktop in you pocket.

Update for an out of market OS, very old windowsphone. Really a waste of time. Hope Nokia change to android or it is a death company in few months.
