It's sad less than 7% of all droids has updated to latest version, when this has been released back in june.

The success of android foundation based on gingerbread. so it is the time to take decision for upgrade the all gingerbread phone to ICS/GB. otherwise android user will be demoralized in future for use this OS.

I think you need different approach.
All must get 4.xx android, but you can choose what phone can use (hardware dependent).

Still, even in JB4.2 there is lack of options for mobile provider. I live at border to other country, so i have to have manually selected provider. But if i drive to other town in my country, phone do not want to use other (in country) provider, because it's set to manual.
What i need is option Automatic for my Country, and a list of providers i can sort (in country or outside).

i guess GB is still dominant because the Android hype starts big during the era of GB, and since then there are so many updates (like in 1-2 year bam, JB 4.2 is out), but people already stuck with their phone with no updates from the phone company and afraid of rooting their phone...

hopefully Android 5.0 will ONLY ship on quadcores and 2 GB RAM as minimum.
it's like a full desktop OS now and should get the power it needs.

Not people running poor hardware then complain it lags..

means 0.12% is WP lol rest Is Android!! WOW
that OS is dead
