With the huawei honor 2 being dirt cheap and the xiaomi mi-2 why would someone buy an entry level phone from sony when with just a little more money you can get a high-end droid (not to mention the oppo find 5 which will cost about 400 euro imported).

Jelly bean is great news. But HVGA is not... And i think it's not a real scorpion, i think 7227A is Cortex A5. That's not good enough.

Isn't it similar to Xperia J in almost every aspect right from design to hardware specs?

It isn't a mid ranger. It's an entry level one. And it's a good one.

So basicly it's Xperia J specs in Xperia U form factor. Dual sim might be handy for some though.

Decent specs for a lower mid-range device from sony ! Hope that sony will fix it's price wisely if they wish to be successful in this competitive smartphone market. Was expecting a front camera though...

Horrible Specs and waiting to see a horrible price tag! Android 4.1 will smooth en things but will it work well on such hardware? Least I could expect from Sony was Dual Core and 512 RAM with 4 Screen. But No we will see such handsets and also my best wishes to the users of old capable Sony Ericsson handset stuck on v4 or v2.3!
