i am living in ksa i updated the firmware with kies but i got 4.1.1 not 4.1.2 plz anyone tell me when will 4.1.2 come in ksa plzzzz

When I check for Firmware update on KIES for my S3 still jelly bean is not available why so... LATEST firmware available says (THR) at the end.. I bought this from dubai sealed pack... Can anybody suggest me why JB is not available yet for my S3

NEW GREAT FEATURES!
1) Multi-view function. It can be disabled through settings.
2) Smart Rotation. It can also be enabled/disabled through settings.
3) The Notification Panel is now customizable! It has a few new panels added such as multi-window, S-beam, AllShare Cast, etc.
4) Page Buddy is here! Page Buddy creates context related pages on the home screen (an earphones page, docking page, roaming page).
5) In your Google Account, the "Location Settings" page gets a face lift!
6) Paper Artist from Note2 is a now available in S3.
7) Group Cast is also new to the Galaxy S3.
8) Best Face feature from Note2 is new in S3's Camera.
9) Low Light feature is also new in Camera.
10 Camera settings get new features such as "Contextual filename" and "auto share shot". A couple of things have moved around.
11) Gallery gets the Note 2 face lift! Looks, feels, and behaves fantastic! Smooth with different types of view modes.
12) Video player gets a brand new capture button that lets you take photos of your screen!
13) Video player also gets new "Add weather tag" and "Tag buddy" settings.
14) My Files gets a new home page that has shortcuts to "images", "videos", "music", and "documents". These shortcuts take you to the respective folders much faster! It's an extra step to access your stuff.
15) My Files gets check-boxes next to folders by default. Makes selection much easier.
16) Total RAM available is 832MB.
17) Video Player now supports pinch-to-zoom and side swipe for brightness and volume controls.

Fanboys, quite the bs. You comments wont touch even the original Galaxy S, much less the GS2. As for the GS3, it's lightyears ahead of both the Lumias and the iPhones. To compare the high-end Lumias and the IOS phones, you need a low-end Android. Get a life

Nice, Android keeps on improving, RIM will release a new platform, now Nokia using WP8 OS. Lots of choices of smartphones which is good to us consumers. I wonder how Apple will catch up.

thanks to Samsung now the other manufacturers will step up, if not you know that the Samsung Galaxy SIII and the Note II successors launch is imminent and sure you cant wait to have that. but its not too late to have the greatest phone the Samsung Galaxy S3 with this new features it is like a new phone again.

In Bangladesh even I don't get the Android 4.1.1 update for the Galaxy S III yet. Would anyone tell us when it will be available here in this region?

Multitouch pinch to zoom etc was stole from jeff Han google it
And palm os didnt had notifications api built into a pull down notification

Just did a manual update.
Added options to notifications , gallery app , multi window setup these 3 are handy upgrade .

The key board feels little better too .

Go for the update. Worth it .
